In the last year or so, many web sites and information forums have have sprung up where you can get enough information to do the protocol yourself.  However it is best to do a protocol through an HCG clinic the first time.  You will likely be able to do the rest yourself.  If you know someone who is doing it by themselves, you may be able to forego the clinic.  If you have a lot of weight to lose, like 100 pounds or more,  doing it yourself is the best way to go.  The first time through the clinic you can expect to lose 30 to 40 pounds in about the same amount of days, not counting the 3 week Phase3.
